The Subterranean Speakeasy:
At Secret Island Tiki Lounge, you'll enjoy exotic craft cocktails and a terrific tiki menu as two top tiki bands entertain you.
Shorty's Swingin' Coconuts kick off the event with their unique brand of jazzy surf music, followed by the return of the Shrunken Heads, making a rare appearance playing their upbeat exotic tunes.
Take your drinks and wander the entire venue. Explore Shannon’s Irish Pub, The Carvery Prime Rib restaurant and the two mezzanines.
Lifestyle vendors, amazing costume contests, and a treasure map to a FREE MAI TAI are all included.
Upstairs “At The Top:”
Spooky Songstress: The main stage lights up with Ukulena's “Spookalena” performance. Her full Halloween band adds a special eeriness to this special occasion.
Scary Showcase: Skip Heller fronts his new band Voodoo 5 - an original swingin' combo featuring vibes and vocals.
Rockin’ Ravers: The ever-popular Rayford Bros. don their colorful Hulaween costumes to perform a raucus set of rockabilly originals and covers. This trio knows how to entertain - and how to get you on your feet!
Exotique Enchantress: Between sets, aerialist Gigi Noree performs high above the dance floor on her hulaween hoop, defying gravity while twisting into impossible poses with the music.
Hulaween Headliners: The legendary Hula Girls band are the original practitioners of hulabilly, led by Spike Marble, complete with your favorite go-go dancers.
Main stage At the Top features a large dance floor and boasts a long art deco bar, plus a luau-style tiki buffet: Pulled Pork, Huli Chicken, Mac Salad and much more!
All over the historic Shannon's Corner, which is a labyrinth of stairwells, a grotto and hidden doors, you will find activities to tickle your senses, from taste and touch to sight and sound. Experience rum-tastings, cocktails and 4 different menus, making this a real Freaky Tiki Hulaween - just 12 days prior to Halloween!
Doors open at 1 and the fun happens from 2-8 pm at 209 Pine Ave in downtown Long Beach at Broadway. Ages 18+
2 hours free parking at 51 E. 3rd st. parking ramp a block away.
All-access pass is just $40 (or 2 for $75) until October 10.
