Angela's birthday party is a key part of her Rhythm Romp on Sunday Sept. 14 - but there is much more on the menu!
Lil’ Mo & The Dynaflos put in a special appearance during Angela’s set, and there are even more surprises in store!

Little Rachel may be petite, but she packs a powerful punch! The voluptuous vixen with the voluminous voice rocks the joint with 50s-style Rhythm and Blues, influenced by artists like Little Richard, Etta James, Wynonie Harris, Ruth Brown, Little Willie John, LaVern Baker, and others.

Angela Tini's Rhythm Romp
Known as the Duchess of Rhythm and Blues, Angela Tini is a dynamic performer with a powerful stage presence.
Steeped in the tradition of the golden age of rock n' roll and rhythm and blues, Angela Tini has fronted both The Starjays and Angelatini & The Treblemakers. She has now released her first full-length solo album called Have You Met Me Yet? on Rum Bar records, to a consensus of acclaim and fanfare.
Angela's record release party is a key part of her self-named Rhythm Romp on Sat. Sept. 23 in Pasadena - but there is much more on the menu!
Leading off this R&B festivqa is Carl Sonny Leyland's Barrelhouse Boogie - a band he has assembled for this show only. Leyland's frenetic boogie woogie piano will be heard throughout the evening and this opening setis a chance to showcase his chops with a trio he calls the Barrelhouse Boogie.
Abby Girl has shuffled the cards to deal us a new musical lineup which debuts at this show. Her rich originals are paired with R&B classics - and the new lineup takes her show to a whole new level!
Host Angela Tini will front her own band during this show, and some of her sidemen performed on her new record release. Be sure to pick up a copy of Have You Met Me Yet?
The biggest surprise of this multi-band festival is the return of the Battle of the Dance Bands - The Moontones vs Lil' Mo & the Dynaflos.
The unique structure of these 2 sets feature the two bands onstage SIMULTANEOUSLY, trading songs and issuing challenges to see who can play the best R&B dance music!
