Lady Friar is a dynamic, female-fronted SoCal Irish Americana punk band that blends rich harmonies, timeless Irish melodies, and electrifying rock elements into a sound that spans the ages.
Musically, Lady Friar is a genre-defying force. Their sound is a seamless fusion of traditional Celtic roots, energetic punk rock, and everything in between. With a tight rhythm section, the band blends guitar, mandolin, banjo, and fiddle to create a unique and captivating experience. Their live shows are packed with fun, high-energy performances—from ancient Celtic harmonies that leave audiences breathless to punk rock anthems that get crowds on their feet. At the heart of the band is lead singer and songwriter, Alana Fitzgerald. Her experience performing across the U.S. at major events gives her a stage presence that is nothing short of captivating. Alana's journey has taken her to incredible heights, performing for A-list celebrities, world leaders, presidents, and even Pope John Paul II. Alana is ingrained in the SoCal Music scene signing to a major record label in 2009. She has showcased her talent at iconic venues such the Kennedy Center, Angel Stadium, the Colosseum and the Hollywood Bowl. Alana has shared the stage with legends, recorded with notable personalities, appeared on the Hour of Power, performed at Warped Tour, & Bamboozle Festivals. From her performance at the Easter Sunrise Service at the Hollywood Bowl to her appearance at Anaheim Stadium during the Desert Storm Salute, Alana has built a legacy of powerful, unforgettable performances.
