60s Night with The Secret Agents
“A thrilling high speed pursuit through 60’s jazz, cinema, pop, rock and R&B. The music that makes whatever you’re doing…simply cooler.”
Suddenly you’re flying Pan-Am, sipping dry martinis en route to Las Vegas, where you’ll be dining with Steve McQueen at the Sands Hotel before the Rat Pack show. Then jump into a convertible and head off to the Troubadour to rock til' morning light.
Fronted by Agent Milan, aka crooner Mark Kopitzke, and created by Sean O’Kelley, aka Martini Papa, Agent Stockholm, the band transports you to a 1960’s night club - serving up hits from Bobby Darin, Sinatra, Johnny Rivers, and classics from 1960s cinema and television. Think James Bond, Peter Gunn, Mission Impossible and more.
The Agents will be joined by special guest, Agent Essen, aka Eva Mikhailovna, whose angelic voice is a shoo-in for Dusty Springfield.
Campus Jax is the perfect speakeasy hideout for The Secret Agents.
- Come early dance to the DJ spinning classic 60’s tunes
⁃ Grab a drink and some dinner, and take advantage of the dance floor.

For the first time ever, see the world famous Tikiyaki Orchestra AND Tikiyaki 5-0 perform together on one stage in one night.
Tikiyaki 5-0 is the surf guitar-driven sister band of the Tikiyaki Orchestra, and they have been on a 2-year hiatus. Now they make their return to the stage as the show opener for the Tikiyaki Orchestra in the intimate setting of Campus JAX in Newport Beach.
Campus Jax boasts a state of the art sound system, as well as video projection system, and is the perfect setting for this amazing event, which will be a multi-media show of sight and sound. Your taste buds will be tickled as well by the 4-Star Menu at your table seats.
For those of you who witnessed the Tikiyaki Orchestra performance at the Yost theater a few years back, you’ll remember the amazing video component that accompanied the Orchestra, bringing another dimension to their already cinematic, exotic sound, and elevating the already escapist element to their amazing mix of Exotica, Lounge, Spy/Crime Jazz and surf.
Tikiyaki 5-0 returns to bring their slightly amplified, guitar-driven exotic surf sound that has made them popular with both the surf and the tiki scene, so this will really be a true Tikiyaki Takeover.
Campus Jax, located in Newport Beach, across the street from John Wayne Airport is an intimate setting with only 130 seats. There is not a bad seat in the house, and their dinner menu is a top notch mix of Cajun and California cuisine. This is a rare opportunity to see The Tikiyaki Orchestra in a classy, up-close setting.

Buy TicketsTwang-a-Palooza w/ Mitch Polzak
Twang-a-Palooza brings three swingin' bands together for an evening of dancing, dining and drinking at Orange County's coolest supper club: Campus JAX.
With its amazing sound system, VIP seating, full menu and large dance floor - this Twang-a-Palooza has it ALL.Add free parking and some of the best Cajun/American cooking around, and you have an exceptional evening to share with your friends and family.
Mitch Polzak is perhaps the MOST energetic and talented string artist around. High Octane does not begin to describe his approach to his original music. If he doesn't get you out of your seat - nothing will! Polzak’s live show has the unvarnished purity of the Bakersfield Sound, paying homage to his California musical heroes Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Wynn Stewart and Dwight Yoakam.
Lil' Mo & the Lonesome Crows specialize in vintage western swing with their 6 piece ensemble. Two-step, swing, Lindy hop - dance to your heart's content. Their high lonesome hillbilly style is the perfect blend of vocals and instrumentation. The band had their debut show at Campus JAX just 4 years ago and continue to amaze.
A relatively new arrival on the scene is Jordan Bush & the Packrats. Jordan has played steel guitar and banjo among other instruments for years, and this show will give him a chance to showcase his string talents. Their musical styles range from early jug band and ragtime up to rockabilly and honky tonk country.
This will be a fun one, folks! Get an early reservation for best seats and set a Sunday evening aside to swing.
Sunday Sept. 15, 4:30 to 8 pm, doors open at 4.
3950 Campus Dr in Newport beach, all ages, reasonable food prices too!
